Kuthampully, around 50 km from Thrissur district, is a handloom village with several families dedicated and passionately involved in weaving beautiful Kerala Sarees, Set & Mundu, Mundus & dhotis. Around 500 years ago, Cochin Maharaja brought Kannada-speaking weavers from Mysore for weaving clothes for the erstwhile dynasty of Cochin. Still, the families there follow their ancestors and are involved in weaving. Kuthampully Sarees and Mundus have been assigned with GI Tag.
Weaving Technique :-Powerloom
Care Instruction:
1. Dry Wash Only.
2. Store this in a dry and cold place, preferably wrapped with brown paper or white cotton cloth to protect it from insects, dust, moisture and to avoid blackening of zari. You may use silica gel packets to absorb the moisture.
3. After wearing, dry it in shade to remove sweat.
REFUND/RETURNS POLICY
A buyer can claim a refund of the Transaction Price within 7 days of expiry of the Delivery time if you do not receive the Delivery within the time period agreed in the Transaction. In the event you do not raise a refund claim within the prescribed time you shall be ineligible for a refund. In cases where the buyer has received the item which is not as described in the listing, the buyer can claim a refund for the entire Transaction Price paid within 7 days from the expiry of the Delivery time and should return the product to the vendor. Returning the product to the vendor is a responsibility of the buyer. Buyer can speak to our customer care before returning the product. If you fail to receive an item shipped to you on account of providing inadequate or inaccurate shipping address or your non-availability at the address provided or failure to make requisite payment at the time of delivery, the Transaction will be cancelled and the item will be returned to the seller and the Company and the seller will be entitled to recover reasonable compensation for services provided and costs incurred for shipping, handling, couriering, processing your order and any other services provided to you.
